For over thirty years, Laura L. Mills has managed and provided a full-service litigation practice through the law firm of Mills, Mills, Fiely & Lucas. The law firm is the oldest law firm in Canton, Ohio and is housed in the Mills Historic Tower. The firm provides legal services throughout the entire state of Ohio. Laura is a litigator and has defended multiple murder/attempted murder trials successfully. She has managed and tried multi-million dollar medical malpractice claims, business litigation matters, partnership disputes, contract litigation and divorces. She is a member of the American College of Trial Lawyers, American Board of Trial Advocates, Super Lawyers, Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum and has earned the highest possible rating in legal ability and ethical standards from the bar and judiciary.  She strongly and passionately advocates for individuals, especially in the realm of social injustice. She has appeared on national television (CBS, 48 Hours, Good Morning America, Dr. Phil, Fox News,) on behalf of her clients. She has appeared in LawNewz, and provided an interview podcast for Beth Karas as well as being featured in her hometown paper for her work and commitment to domestic violence and other social injustice.

Robert J Shearer is the co-founder, former CEO and chairman of Shearer Foods.  During his 40-year-tenure, he scaled the company to a multi-million-dollar enterprise, receiving accolades from numerous trade and business organizations.  For his entrepreneurial achievements, Shearer has been recognized by Ernst & Young, Crain’s Cleveland Business and the Northeast Ohio Business Hall of Fame.  A former chairman of SNAC International, Shearer also served on numerous boards and is a frequent keynote speaker on entrepreneurship.  He divides his time between Florida, Arizona and Ohio.  We Were Better Together, Shearer’s first book, is dedicated to his late wife Melissa.

Manny is a recently retired CFO completing an exemplary international career in large multi-national Corporations working in five countries across 3 continents (South Africa, Spain, England, Mexico and USA) over 50+ years. The mission and objective of the Integrative Cancer Care Foundation is extremely heartfelt having been personally touched by the debilitating physical, emotional and financial effects of this disease.

Lisa has a wide range of experience and expertise from her position as the Senior Paralegal and Office and Human Resource Manager for Mills, Mills, Fiely & Lucas, LLC in Canton, Ohio for nearly 20 years. From civil litigation, corporate formations, probate administration and estate planning all the way to criminal defense to personal injury, Lisa is passionate with helping clients and making them feel comfortable with every decision-making piece of their case – from choosing the firm to closing out their case. Health and wellness has become a huge part of Lisa’s lifestyle. On October 1, 2023, Lisa and her husband, John purchased iCryo located in Canton, Ohio and a second location in Fort Wayne, Indiana in December 2023. ICryo is a holistic wellness center that provides, cryotherapy, infrared saunas, compression, hyperbaric oxygen therapy, red light therapy, vitamin shots and IV’s as well as medical weight loss services. This too, has become a venture that Lisa finds satisfying in guiding individuals with their health, wellness and recovery. Lisa has found that the mission of Integrative Cancer Care Foundation adds to her fulfilling nature of aiding patients. This time, specifically cancer patients to seek the right, affordable treatments and not have the added stress and worry of medical debt. Lisa was born and raised in Canton, Ohio. Lisa and John live in the Massillon area and have two dog children, Frankie and Charlie.

Dr. Santosh Rao is the Medical Director of Integrative Oncology for UH Connor Whole Health, part of the Integrative Medicine team. Dr. Rao is a board-certified Medical Oncologist specializing in GU Malignancies, and a board-certified Integrative Medicine Provider. He served as the Medical Director of Integrative Medicine at Banner MD Anderson Cancer Center in Arizona from 2014 to 2022, as well as the Director of Supportive Oncology since 2021, where he led a distinguished program including massage, acupuncture, yoga, meditation, diet and lifestyle direction, and integrative oncology. Dr. Rao has been recognized as a “Top Doc” for Integrative Medicine in Phoenix for four years.
